Police Hospital Receives Presents From CEO Of Tsk Records

Mr Tebi Stephen, the Chief Executive Officer of TSK RECORDS and Multimedia, dealers in artist management and other related duties of music, on Thursday donated items, assorted detergents and toiletries worth millions of Ghana Cedis to the Police Hospital in Accra.

He explained that he was compelled to donate after his hard stress of experience when he visited a friend time ago at the hospital in Accra.

This has become necessary as the Hospital's facilities have been over stretched due to the population that use them daily for medical attention.  The donation would provide the hospital with additional facilities, attract more medical professionals and improve upon its quality health delivery.

Mr Stephen noted that although the Police Hospital lacks some value functions at the hospital, they are always ready to attend to patients no matter the issue at hand.

He said because he was hit by the “Lack of better health care,” he decided to give the items as his support for the operations of the Hospital.

Mr Tebi indicated he purchased several quality products and many more to support the health sector in the country.

He further appealed to individuals who could lend a hand to donate to community health facilities so they could offer improved services.

Some of the items donated included food items, pomade, towel, diapers, oil and many others.

Brigadier General Michael Akwasi Yeboah Agyapong, the Commander of the Police Hospital, who received the items, commended Mr Stephen Tebi for the donation.

He said the Hospital lacks beds but also needed mattresses and space. He said the beds could also be used as “Cardiac beds” for resuscitation.

The hospital which was built in 1955 by the government of Ghana was handed over to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in 1956, was managed by European Missionaries until 1976 and had its first Ghanaian doctor Dr Charles Opuni Akuamea as the medical superintendent
